Challenge: guess ID 7 spring plants from my yard











I thought this may be fun. Can you guess the ID on these plants? These are all from my yard today:) Leave a comment with your guesses! From top to bottom 1-7.

?hyssop? (I have this one here but I do not know quite what it is or if it is useful ... I do know that it intrigues me)

Here's my guesses:

1. Dandelion
2. Catnip
3. Motherwort or Creeping Charlie (it's hard to get the exact leaf shape by the photo)
4. Lavender
5. Oregano
6. Mullein or Lamb's Ears (again, fuzzy photo)
7. Crocus

Thanks for that bit of spring. We're still covered in snow here in MN. I'm jealous!

This was tough! Honestly, the only ones I got correct (without any research or Googling whatsoever) were the oregano (mainly because I use this herb ALL THE TIME - not just in cooking but also as a natural remedy for respiratory health concerns) and the dandelion.
